Just over two years ago, family and friends lost Zoe Esther Caroline Pedro, at the age of 16 months old, to congenital heart disease.
Zoe was an incredible little girl who touched so many people throughout her life. Her Legacy continues through events that The Z-Squad host in her honour throughout the year. Zoe continues to exist in our lives as Our Angel Zoe.
SickKids is the hospital that was a second home to Zoe for more than half of her life.
Since Zoe's passing, Tricia and I have participated in the annual march put on by SickKids Foundation and we GetLoud!
Our team, The Z-Squad are raising funds for the march. To date, our team has raised over $44,000 and we wish to continue to support the hospital and staff that were so important in Zoe's magnificent life.
Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
This September, our team is joining an army: 5000+ SickKids supporters rallying together at a new fundraising event for SickKids, GetLoud. $2.5 million is our collective fundraising goal. We're building a new SickKids, and it's going to take all of us.
SickKids has always been on the front lines in the fight for children's health. But the clinical facilities at SickKids are close to 70 years old. Today, one of the biggest battles at SickKids is against the limits of an old building.
Help us unleash the full potential of SickKids by donating online - it's safe, secure and easy. Any amount you give today will help us reach our fundraising goal.
Let's rally, march, and celebrate. When we unite in the fight against limits at SickKids, we're unstoppable.
